Nestled on Washington State's beautiful Olympic Peninsula, near Hood Canal and beneath the majestic Olympic Mountains, Secret Garden Lavender and Herb Farm is a place where the beauty of nature inspires everything we do.
Our journey began long before the first lavender plants were tucked into the ground. In 1990, we built our family homestead here, drawn by the peaceful beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the dream of creating a place where gardens, nature, and family life could flourish. Over the years, that homestead gradually grew into the farmstead it is today—a place shaped by patience, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the land.
A lifelong love of gardening, the timeless beauty and scent of lavender, and an appreciation for the romance of Provence and the charm of English cottage gardens all helped shape our vision. In creating our lavender farm, we hoped to cultivate a peaceful place where nature, beauty, and gardens could flourish. As the years passed, that passion naturally grew into sharing the things we loved most with others.
In 2010, our vision blossomed into Secret Garden Lavender and Herb Farm. What began with a passion for growing lavender soon evolved into creating handcrafted lavender products and thoughtfully curating botanical gifts inspired by gardens, gracious living, and the timeless charm of home. Warm western sunshine, cool Pacific Northwest evenings, and the changing seasons continue to inspire everything we grow, create, and share.

Our lavender is carefully hand harvested, and we care for our plants through attentive cultivation and manual weeding. We nourish our lavender with organic compost that enriches and insulates the soil, creating optimal growing conditions for many seasons to come.
Throughout the farm, we grow lavender, herbs, and flowers that provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
